It just got a little harder for smokers under the age of 21 to get their fix in Genesee County.

ABC12 is reporting that the Genesee County Board of Commissioners, have voted today to prohibit tobacco sales to anyone under the age of 21. There is a 90 day grace period in effect until enforcement of the new rule.

This move towards 21 as being the age for tobacco sales is not the first in Michigan. Ann Arbor has put this into place along with 212 other counties in the State.
