Police in Holly are looking for three suspects they believe are trying to pass fake $100 bills at local businesses.

A picture of one of the suspects was taken on Sunday (1/12) as police say he attempted to use the counterfeit money at three businesses on North Holly Rd.

One of the suspects appears to be a black male in his 20s or early 30s. He's accompanied by two women, one who is younger with long braids and a heavyset woman with a wig who appears to be in her 40s. They have been spotted in a white SUV which may be a Ford Explorer.

Reports indicate that the trio uses the fake bills to make small purchases and receive a great deal of change in return. Anyone with information is asked to call the Holly police department at 248-634-8221.

Area businesses should be especially diligent when accepting $100 bills as payment.
