I was skeptical. When I ordered this ultrasonic pest repellent online, I figured there was a pretty good chance I was flushing $16 down the toilet. I've taken bigger gambles and lost, so I figured "Why not."

Short answer:  It really works.

By the way, this is NOT a paid endorsement. I'm writing this because I like to share things that you might find helpful or useful.

The product is made by Flexzos (never heard of them before) and it's advertised to repel flies, mosquitos, mice, rodents, and other bugs.

We'd been killing and inordinate number of flies -- probably 10 to 12 per day  -- and it was driving us nuts. This stopped almost immediately after I plugged these thing-a-ma-jigs in. We may zap two or three a week now.

The manufacturer says it irritates insects' hearing and nerve system and supposedly interrupts their breeding season. (That's a buzz kill.) It's also supposed to have no ill effects on pets.

One thing to keep in mind, the instructions say to plug them in 20 to 50 inches above the floor. That's not typically where outlets are located, so we opted for the kitchen and bathroom.

I'm not getting anything if you order through this link. Your undying gratitude will be enough. You just laughed, right?

Let me know how it works for you!
