Steven Tyler Leaves ‘American Idol’ Ahead of Season 12

As American Idol host Ryan Seacrest might say -- Tyler....out!

Just a couple of seasons into it, Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has decided to exit his role as a judge on ‘American Idol.’ A press release from Tyler made the announcement, amid a lot of speculation that Charlie Sheen might end up as part of the Idol panel. Jennifer Lopez, an Idol judge also thinks that it’s time for her to go too. Will Randy ‘Yo! Dawg!’ Jackson be the sole judge to remain?
