The National Park Service is waiving entrance fees for five dates at Sleeping Bear Dunes in 2020.

According to M-Live, the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore will have free entry on five days during the year.

The dates include January 20th, April 18th, August 25th, September 26th, and November 11th.

The days are significant for the National Park service and the regular fee will be waived on those dates.  A $25 seven day vehicle pass is usually what is required for entry into the park.

The waiver will get you in the park but it does not cover other park activities such as camping.

Two national parks in Michigan charge a fee, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Isle Royale. There are three other national parks in Michigan and those three are free through out the year.
