When you shuck corn, you want to remove every last bit of silk off, right? Oh how I hate finding a rogue strand, especially after I've tried so meticulously to get it all! Grrr!

There's an easier way. (See video below)

Microwave each ear for four minutes. If you're planning to shuck multiple ears, add four minutes for each additional ear. (Corn will be hot when it comes out of the microwave.)

Then cut off the root end.

The corn should slide right out of the husk, silk free.
