Shillelagh 4-Miler Kicks Off Spring Racing Season Saturday

Spring is just around the corner, and the spring road-racing season unofficially kicks off this Saturday in Flushing with the Shillelagh 4-mile run and walk. The race starts at noon at Flushing Central Elementary School on Coutant Street. The course winds through a residential area before finishing on a nice downhill heading for downtown Flushing. Participants are encouraged to wear green!

Sign up online at www.riverbendstriders.com or in person at Bauman's Running and Walking Shop on Hill road. Race day registration begins at 10:30 am at Central Elementary School. In addition to the 4-mile run and walk, there will be a 1/4 mile kid's Leprechaun Lope. Dress up the whole family in green and get outside!
