Semi Crash Shuts Down EB I-94 at Liberty in Ann Arbor Indefinitely
Eastbound I-94 is closed on Ann Arbor's west side after a semi-truck crashed into an overpass this morning. The Expressway is expected to be closed indefinitely.

Interstate and Bridge Closed Until Further Notice
Michigan State Police say the crash occurred about 9 o'clock this morning. A semi-truck driving with its boom up hit the Liberty Road overpass while traveling east on I-94.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says the freeway will be closed in Washtenaw County indefinitely. I-94 eastbound is closed from M-14 To Ann Arbor Saline, including the Jackson Road entrance. The Liberty Road overpass will remain closed as well.
Liberty Road will also remain closed from Liberty Pointe Drive to Towne Road, according to Detroit's WXYZ-TV.
MDOT officials say the integrity of the overpass may have been compromised. The freeway and the bridge will remain closed until the integrity of the overpass can be evaluated.
Traffic is Being Detoured
The Michigan Department of Transportation is detouring traffic onto M-14 to Southbound US 23 and then back to Eastbound I-94.
There were no injuries reported due to the crash.
