It's been 25 years since the bell first rang.  'Saved By The Bell' debuted on August 20, 1989 and jumped to the top of the ratings for NBC's Saturday morning lineup.

The show was preceded by 'Good Morning, Miss Bliss' which aired for 13 episodes on Disney Channel.  That run, later billed as 'Saved By The Bell: The Junior High Years', was revamped with some character changes to the show we now see in syndication.
