Here's a story that's out of left field, or in this case, the back court.

In the soon-to-be-published book, “The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin”, author Joe McGinniss reveals that Sarah Palin had a one-night stand with basketball star Glen Rice, whose career includes Flint's Northwestern High School, U of M, and the NBA.

The Washington Post reports that the incident occurred in 1987, while he was in college and she was a sports reporter fresh out of college and working at KTUU in Alaska. Rice was a junior at the University of Michigan at the time and their one-night stand occurred while he and the Wolverines were playing in the Great Alaska Shootout.

Supposedly the affair took place less than a year before Palin eloped with husband Todd. This revelation will likely affect the former Alaska Governor's decision to run for president.

Here's a video of Palin, doing a sports report in her younger years at KTUU-TV in Alaska.
