Woman Abandons Daughter at Kohl's to Avoid Shoplifting Bust [VIDEO]

The video is jaw-dropping. A woman who was about to get busted for shoplifting at the Kohl's store in Saginaw is seen letting go of her 7-year-old daughter's hand, leaving the girl behind.

Security footage released to ABC-12 shows the mother abandoning her child before the girl could get through a set of sliding doors. She ran through the parking lot, then drove off, leaving her daughter behind. Reports say she phoned relatives to have them retrieve the youngster from the store.

The woman could face child abuse and endangerment charges in addition to retail fraud charges.
