Where is Brendan Santo? Reward Now Doubled in Missing Person Case
It's been almost three weeks, and the question remains the same. Where is Brendan Santo?
The 18-year-old Grand Valley State University student was visiting friends at Michigan State University Halloween weekend, which also happened to be the weekend of the big Michigan vs. Michigan State game.
According to reports, Santo was last seen leaving Yakeley Hall shortly before midnight on October 29, and was believed to be heading to the Brody Neighborhood, and hasn't been seen since. Police found his vehicle was found in the same place he first left it. Although extensive searches of both the campus, surrounding areas, and even the Cedar River have taken place, Santo is still missing.
Search effort have grown over the past few weeks and social media presence has increased in hopes to find some sort of clue to what exactly happened to the recent graduate of Rochester Adams High School.
As of just a few days ago an $11,000 was being offered to anyone with information that would lead to bringing Brendan home safely to his family. Today, that reward amount was increased to $20,000 in hopes of sparking interest in anyone who might have heard or seen anything the night Santo disappeared.
Anyone who has seen Brendan Santo or knows anything about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Michigan State University Police Department at by phone at 844-99-MSUPD (67873) or by email at tips@police.msu.edu.
