Reunited: Missing Dog From Florida Somehow Came to Michigan
A dog that went missing about a month ago in Jacksonville, Florida turned up in Macomb County and has since been reunited with her owner.
Michael Williams tells WJBK he had been leaving food and water for the dog but didn't take her into his home, figuring that she belonged to someone nearby. But after ten days, he decided to call the number on the dog's collar and was shocked to find out she was from Florida.
Danielle Winters says she was shocked when she got a call from the man in New Baltimore, Michigan saying he had found Roxy.
“Without him, I would have never got her back so I’m very happy,” said Winters.
Winters began making the long drive north to Detroit and in the video below, you'll see her happy reunion with Roxy.
The question remains, how did Roxy get to Michigan? Not likely on those short legs!
