Let's hope Mickey Redmond knows how to take a joke. The legendary Detroit Red Wings broadcaster is the center of a celebrity roast which will air this Friday (9/27) on Fox Sports Detroit.

Scotty Bowman, Mike Babcock, Ken Daniels, and Jim Ralph all took good-natured jabs at Redmond on September 7th at the charity event that was held at Motor City Casino. The fundraiser was held to raise money and awareness for the Jamie Daniels Foundation. Jamie, the son of Red Wings broadcaster Ken Daniels, died of an overdose while receiving treatment for drug addiction.

"We've been together 23 years now," Ken Daniels said as he talked about his longtime partnership with Mickey Redmond. "That's longer than both of our first marriages combined."

The 'Jamie Daniels Foundation Celebrity Roast of Mickey Redmond' will air Friday before and after the Red Wings' preseason game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
