Red Hot Chili Peppers Drummer Trolls Ohio Crowd with Michigan Fight Song
I didn't need another reason to like him, but now I have one.
Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, a native of Detroit, trolled the hell out of the Columbus, Ohio audience on Sunday night by singing "The Victors" on stage. He did this back in 2012, too.
He says that, growing up in Michigan, he was always a fan of the maize and blue. He even had the Michigan logo on his kick drum. Hey, I'm a big believer of staying true to yourself. It would be phony for him to do a show in Ohio and pretend that he's an OSU fan.
He gave a pretty great tribute to the Joe when they performed there in February, with his mom sitting in the wings.
