A Virginia woman's home was instantly filled with praying mantises after hatching from an egg case hidden in her family's Christmas tree.

Fake Christmas trees are better than real ones. Fight me if you disagree.

Last year, Molly Kreuze told WSBT in Virginia that the creepy crawly little insects were everywhere, "Crawling on the walls, crawling on the ceilings, just kind of moving."

Kreuze, a veterinarian, discovered that some people really like praying mantises. So rather than sucking them up with the vacuum, she baited them with fruit flies and then attempted to capture them -- in order to relocate them outside.

“I hope to find them a home,” she quipped. “I don’t want them.”

Kreuze tells the TV station she plans to have an artificial Christmas tree this year.
