Real-Life ‘Scott’s Tots': Ohio Seniors Receive Free College Tuition – The Good News
Except for this one isn't nearly as awkward and has a much happier ending.
If you're not familiar with NBC's The Office, let me enlighten you on one of the most uncomfortable episodes of television in existence - Scott's Tots.
Thank goodness that was fiction, because THIS is reality and you'd better have the tissues ready.
Pete Kadens was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated and successfully started three businesses, which made him a wealthy man. And he felt that it was his "responsibility" to give back to the community.
So, he announced to the 2020 graduating class at Scott High School in Toledo that he'll be paying ALL of their college tuition including room, board, and books.
And it didn't end there - he also offered to send one of each students' parents to college. too.
We're not crying, YOU ARE!
