Popular Michigan Therapy Goat Passes Away During Surgery

Rest In Peace, Oreo. And thank you for all the joy you brought to people in the mitt.

A few months back, we told you about Oreo, the orphaned goat who was adopted in June by a woman from Midland. Her mom asked if she could bring the goat to the senior living home she works at for a visit, so she did...and Oreo was a HIT.

His owner was so thrilled with his people skills that she took him to training and got him certified as a therapy goat with a vest AND a badge.

Over this past weekend, his owner posted that he had kidney stones and would need surgery.

Sadly, Oreo passed away during surgery. Safe travels over the rainbow bridge, little guy.
