Police Arrest Man For Overdue Library Book
Talk about getting the book thrown at you!
Can you believe they REALLY arrested a man for the unforgivable.....not returning a library book.
The cost of replacement books has become so high that the city passed a law to arrest violators of the book return policy.
Jory Enck is the guy who kept a GED study program too long (he took it out in 2010), and felt the full force of the new policy. Whether or not he read the book, the police did read him his rights as they arrested him. He was released on a $200 bond.
