A little bright spot for the upcoming holiday weekend.

Ladies and germs, it's back - Pineapple Orange Faygo has made its triumphant return to the Midwest and east coast after a 15-year hiatus.

“We know Faygo fans are incredibly passionate about their favorite flavors, and what better way to honor their devotion than to bring Pineapple Orange back to our hometown of Detroit and then to other parts of the nation,” said Al Chittaro, president of Faygo beverages in a press release. “We are proud to deliver our customers the unforgettable, fresh taste experience of Pineapple Orange.”

The pop hasn't been available in the mitten state since 2005.

Apparently, the sugary, yellowish/orange drink has been a constant in stores in the south this entire time. The re-release is part of Faygo's Together We Pop campaign, aimed at spreading togetherness and positivity.

Faygo hasn't re-released an old favorite flavor since 2017, when they brought back their Arctic Sun pop. Pineapple Orange will be available in 24 oz and 2-liter bottles.

I wish I could say that the Insane Clown Posse will be excited about this, but they have no shows and no audiences to spray on this summer.

It does sound like the most perfect summer drink, especially with some booze added possibly? Listen, it's okay to get excited about small things right now, and this is a perfect example. Enjoy your weekend; get your Faygo on.
