Parents, Family Friend Arrested in Connection With Sexual Assault of Children, 5 and 8 [VIDEO]

The parents of an 8-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy, and a family friend have been arrested on criminal sexual contact charges in Tuscola County.

Robert Feldhouse of Caro faces 12 counts, including 10 counts of first-degree CSC, for sexually abusing the children. The kids' mother, Lynette Kesler, and William Dewey, who is the father of one of the children had been ordered to keep the children from Feldhouse.

Tuscola County Prosecutor Mark Reene tells ABC-12 he gives credit to a school employee for reporting  potential abuse.

“The school where one of the victims attends became aware of a potential circumstance involving her, made the appropriate report to the Department of Health and Human Services,” Reene said.

Police believe the abuse may have been going on for more than two years.
