"A book is a dream you hold in your hands"—Neil Gaiman

March is designated as National Reading Month, a month set aside to motivate Americans of all ages to read every day. Reading is definitely fun and comes with so many benefits, regardless of your age, and reading to and with your child is a perfect way to start them on their journey.

As a way to celebrate National Reading Month, Dr. Wax Orthodontics is hosting a special story time every Saturday during the month of March. "Weekend Readings with Wax" is designed for children ages 5-8 years old, but all ages are welcomed to attend. The story time will have children hanging out with Panda Wax and enjoying 2-3 stories.

Each child that attends will receive a free book to take home. Parents will be able to relax while their kids are enjoying a special story with a coffee, latte or smoothie from the UB Station Cafe.

All attending will need to adhere to strict CDC rules regarding covid safety precautions. Masks are required to be worn by all attending. Attendees can bring a comfy lounge mat or blanket from home.  The following "Weekend Readings with Wax" sessions are available:

  • March 6th 10:30am-Noon
  • March 13th 10:30am-Noon
  • March 20th 1:30pm-3pm
  • March 27th 10:30-Noon

Registration is required for all weekends of "Weekend Readings with Wax", and space is limited.  The event is FREE to attend and you can register by clicking here.

Dr. Wax Orthodontics is located at 120 N. Bridge Street in Linden.
