I'm sure this photo makes a lot of people uncomfortable it may even piss a few people off but the main reason I took it...

This photo may make some people uncomfortable, but that's exactly what it's supposed to do.

Mother-of-two Eva Holland, from Cincinnati, has taken a bold step in bringing awareness to addiction: she posted a picture of herself and her young children, standing next to her husband/their father's casket at his funeral.

Her husband, 26-year-old Mike Settles, passed away after a long addiction to heroin. He entered rehab late last year, and was out by Christmas. He posted to his Facebook about his "healthy transformation," and how he was excited to be with his family. Sadly, something as small as a toothache reignited his addiction.

She shared the picture, which she has been both praised and criticized for, with the hopes of helping other people who are suffering from, or who know somebody who has an addiction.

I have a sister who is addicted to meth, and this picture really struck a chord with me. Addiction isn't something that we should keep in the dark.
