New Kids on the Block Announce Tour! Here’s How to Get Michigan Tickets
Attention! This is not a test! New Kids on the Block are hitting the road with a new tour.
The guys from Boston are diving back into the past for a tour fans have been waiting for, and that includes a stop in Michigan next year. The band made the big announcement on Monday that they are hitting the road for The Magic Summer 2024 Tour kicking off in June. They will be joined on the road by DJ Jazzy Jeff and Paula Abdul.
"With inspiration from the 1990 tour of the same name, NKOTB will bring all of the magic back for fans in amphitheaters, arenas, and stadiums nationwide," the website said.
Donnie Wahlberg, Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, and Danny Wood, who hailed from Dorchester, Massachusetts, became household names in the 1980s with the success of such tunes as "Please Don't Go Girl", and You Got It (The Right Stuff). Since then, the band has continued to wow fans and produce incredible music even after a short time apart.
“The true ‘magic’ of this tour is in the music, the moments and the memories that we get to create — and recreate — with our amazing fans each night,” Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement. “Feeling all the nostalgic feels of the original Magic Summer, with the bond that we’ve shared throughout the years, will make for a most magical time indeed.”
