We don't know about you, but we are soooo ready to go back to the movies!

We're all weathering the same storm in different boats right now. Personally, I've really enjoyed slowing down during the pandemic and working from home. However, the only thing that I've truly missed doing is going to the movies.

After months of uncertainty and with the news of other theatre chains closing, I was ecstatic to hear that NCG Trillium Cinema in Grand Blanc is reopening this Friday.

We talked to NCG marketing manager Tim Dilts on the show yesterday about what to expect.

"We're extremely excited to get the okay to open our doors; we have 10 locations in the great state of Michigan. It's gonna be a struggle coming out of this, but we're dedicated to the movie-going experience. Everything is going to take time to get back to a new normal."

As far as movies go, a lot of them are being released straight to streaming or having their release dates pushed to 2021. They'll be showing some new films like Tenet, The New Mutants, and Bill & Ted Face the Music.

They're also going to throw in some classic movies and feature a comedy night with movies like The Hangover and 40-year-old Virgin.

There will be limited capacity; some locations have reserved seating so they're spacing people out to accommodate social distancing. NCG is also sanitizing high-traffic touchpoints, and offering a limited concessions menu. It's asked that, when you're not eating and/or in common areas, you keep your mask on.

Let's go to the movies!!
