MSU Says Toilet Paper Noose on Students’ Door was a Halloween Prank
Looks like Michigan State is on the positive PR tour again.
Two African American students at MSU found a noose made out of toilet paper hung from their dorm door in Bryan Hall over the weekend, and the university is responding.
MSU says that the students responsible have come forward and admitted to taping the toilet paper to the door as a "Halloween prank." However, the Housing Assignments Office noted that "it is important to remember that actions and words meant to hurt someone based on their identity have no place in our community.”
The Black Student Alliance at MSU is holding a community forum to discuss the incident.
