Kids' Hair in Woodbury, Minnesota, has trained some of their stylists to be sensory-friendly.

They trained with Fraser, one of MN's leading autism service providers. Eventually, their goal is to train ALL of their stylists to work with kids on the spectrum.

Sensory issues can be a problem - blow dryers, scissors, bright lights, etc. Haircuts can be a real challenge for kids on the ASD spectrum and their parents. The stylists were trained over the summer, and in October, the salon donated a portion of its proceeds to Fraser, saying that "everybody deserves a good haircut."
