A well-known TV anchor's baby boy is recovering today after surgery at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. Carrie Sharp's son Decker underwent surgery to repair holes in his heart, and to repair a valve between his heart and lungs.

Sharp tells staffers at TV-5 that the procedure was a success, and no leakage from the repairs has been detected. She says doctors are working to control the boy's pain as he recovers.

In an emotion-filled video prior to Decker's surgery (below), Sharp asked viewers to include Decker and the family, as well as his surgical team, in their prayers.

We wish Decker, Carrie, and her husband all the best during his recovery!
