Staff Sgt. Travis Mills of Vassar, lost his arms and legs while serving in Afghanistan, but he continues to serve as an inspiration. His story will soon touch even more people on the big screen as he opens up to a documentary crew.Mills is reliving the day he stepped on an IED and giving people a peek inside his everyday life. The short film is titled ' It's titled Travis: A Soldier's Story. A nonprofit called Fotolanthropy approached him about the project. Mills has received several offers for movies and books, but he said this one seemed right.
