Michigan UP Resident: Don’t Visit for Spring Break, STAY HOME
There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula, and residents want it to stay that way.
Yesterday, photos and video emerged of Florida beaches that are packed to the brim with tourists on spring break.
Needless to say, people who live in tourist destinations are panicking and pleading with people to STAY HOME, including Kingsford, Michigan resident Courtney Diamond.
Don't treat this like a snow day, ladies and germs. You're defeating the purpose of a quarantine if you're traveling to other places. Don't be selfish - just because YOU may not be experiencing symptoms, doesn't mean that you're not sick and can't give it to somebody with a compromised immune system.
