Michigan State troopers in the Tri-City post rescued the injured animal that had been struck by a vehicle traveling on US-10 near M-47, not far from the city of Midland.
Owl Now in the Hands of Wildlife Rehabilitation Experts
Officers in the Tri-City post shared the picture above on Twitter, noting that the animal appeared to have a broken wing and was promptly assisted by experts from a local wildlife rehabilitation facility.
"Tri-City Post: Troopers responded to assist an owl that was struck by a car on US-10 near M-47 last night. The owl appeared to have a broken wing. Troopers connected him with local wildlife rehabilitation specialists."
