Michigan State Police: Don’t Call 911 To Report ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’ Violations
This pandemic is bringing out the best...and the worst in people.
Michigan state police are asking us NOT to call 911 to report people who violating the Stay Home, Stay Safe order that was enacted yesterday.
Yes, apparently it has to be said.
911 should stay reserved solely for emergencies and reporting that your neighbor is having a get-together of more than 10 people is NOT an emergency.
If you see somebody violating the order, you're encouraged to call your local police department on their non-emergency line.
No apologies for the sass on our part here - it's been a long week and we're done with stupid.
