Michigan Sheriff’s Deputy Charged With Indecent Exposure
A Michigan Sheriff's Deputy has been arraigned after being charged with exposing himself multiple times to a female.
Huron County Sheriff's Deputy Patrick O'Brien appeared in court today after being charged with three counts of aggravated indecent exposure. He has been placed on administrative leave from the sheriff's department.
According to Lansing TV station WLNS, O'Brien intentionally exposed himself and masturbated in front of a window in his home which was visible to the public.
I know the pandemic has been boring, but still.
Michigan State Attorney General said law enforcement officers need to be held to the same standards as the general public.
“Police officers are expected to know the rules, and we cannot turn a blind eye to those who choose to neglect their duties and violate the very laws they are meant to enforce,” Nessel said. “Since I took office, I have consistently advocated for law enforcement accountability, and my office will take action against anyone who breaks the law – regardless of whether they have a badge or not.”
O'Brien is expected to appear in court (fully clothed) early in September.
