Michigan Senator Apologizes for Wearing Questionable Face Mask [VIDEO]

Hundreds of people have called for the resignation of Michigan Senator Dale Zorn for allegedly wearing a face mask that resembled a confederate flag. As of today, more than 700 people have weighed in on change.org asking for the Republican senator to resign.

Zorn has maintained that the pattern of the face mask is not a confederate flag, but similar to the state flags of Kentucky and Tennessee.

“I told my wife it probably will raise some eyebrows, but it was not a Confederate flag,” Zorn told WLNS.

But Zorn has acknowledged that the face-covering bears resemblance to the confederate flag and has apologized via Twitter.

Still, other lawmakers say the apology isn't enough.
