Let's be honest...the police have been in the news a LOT lately. And not for good reasons. Ultimately, they put their lives on the line to protect us. This is a GREAT local story!

Police in Lowell, Michigan, were pulling people over for driving 5 mph under the speed limit or more in the snow. Drivers were a bit frustrated by this, until the officers started asking them about their Christmas list. Low and behold, the officers presented them with gifts that were in the back of their squad cars!

Not long afterwards, Lowell police were approached by a media company owned by a Michigan resident called Rob Bliss Creative. The company offered to fund the Christmas gifts if the police department would allow them to film it. The result is this adorable, feel-good video that shows our law enforcement in a different light.

YAY MICHIGAN!
