Michigan Man Had $80 Million Lottery Ticket in Wallet for Weeks

A Detroit-area man had a big surprise when he remembered to pull a winning lottery ticket out of his wallet.

According to WNEM, Dick Zelasko bought the ticket for the July 5 drawing but didn't realize it was a winner until he checked the numbers over a month later. He had kept the ticket in his wallet during that entire time and even had taken vacations and played rounds of golf not knowing he had $80 million in his back pocket!
