Michigan Golf Course Employee Fires Gun After Argument With Golfers, Arrested
It's not clear whether or not the employee was carrying the gun for professional or personal purposes.
An employee of the Heather Highlands Golf Course in Springfield Township confronted a group of golfers, alleging that they had brought their own alcohol onto the course and that they were also leaving beer cans on the ground.
Apparently, that's when the argument got ugly, and the employee pulled a gun from his waistband and fired several rounds. Several golfers attacked the man and tried to disarm him; police were called and paramedics treated the employee for "unspecified injuries."
The employee, who is from Grand Blanc, is being held in the Oakland County jail for "felonious assault with a firearm."
Here I'm wondering if the golfers are going to get in trouble for bringing their own beer on to the course...
