MI Health Chief Faces Involuntary Manslaughter Charges for Role in Flint Water Crisis [VIDEO]
The head of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is charged with involuntary manslaughter and other charges for his role in the ongoing Flint water debacle. Nick Lyon is accused of failing to alert the public of a Legionnaires' Disease outbreak.
Michigan's chief medical officer, Eden Wells, is also being charged with obstruction of justice and lying to a police officer.
Attorney General Bill Schuette is expected to give an update on Flint's ongoing water crisis at a news conference today (6/14) at 11 am.
