About 400 pounds of pork and beef products distributed by a Michigan-based wholesale company have been recalled due to public safety concerns.

The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) says the products were sold by UP Products, which does business as Meyer Wholesale, based in Ewen Michigan. Ewen is located in the Upper Peninsula, about 60 miles south of Houghton.

The recalled products were sold to restaurants and retail locations in Michigan and Wisconsin.
