Man Who Gave Boy Pacifier to Muffle Screams to Stand Trial in Michigan [VIDEO]

A West Michigan man could spend life in prison for the sexual assault of two brothers, one of whom he gave a a pacifier to muffle the boy's screams.

Tyler Ryan Lowis of Sparta Michigan reportedly called himself "daddy," while he referred to his now-14-year-old victim as "baby." During the assaults, the 22-year-old man also made his victim use a sippy cup, baby bottles, and diapers.

The assaults took place over a two-year period in the mobile home Lowis shared with his wife. He considered himself a mentor to his victims.

Monday, a judge ordered Lowis to stand trial on nine charges, including first-degree criminal sexual conduct during a felony, child sexually abusive commercial activity, and using a computer to commit a crime.
