A disturbing video surfaced earlier this week of a man pulling a gun on a father holding his baby at a gas station in Detroit.

Around 6 pm on Sunday, June 19, a father was standing inside the Valero gas station holding his baby when all of a sudden, a man came through the door with a gun in hand. He immediately pointed the gun at the man holding the baby but was unable to fire the weapon. Apparently, the gun had malfunctioned, giving the father enough time to push the weapon away. At that moment, the gunman ran away.

Let all that sink in for a moment. A man pulls a gun on a father holding his child on Father's Day. It's truly a messed-up world we live in.

According to WDIV, police said the two men got into an argument a few blocks away. The gunman followed the man and his baby to the gas station, and the father immediately rushed to protect himself and his little baby.

I have no idea what the two men were arguing about or how it escalated to the point that it did. However, nothing can justify pulling a gun on a man holding his baby.

The father and 7-month-old are going to be just fine.

On a side note, I found it a little weird that the father was in the store with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and no shirt on. I'm not judging here, just an observation.
