As if the terms provocative and controversial weren't already synonymous with just the mention of her name, Madonna finds herself under scrutiny for her latest video 'God Control.'

Aimed at tackling the subject of gun control head on, the 60-year-old Pop singer is being blasted by survivors of gun violence, mainly those that were victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando in 2016. The source of outrage comes from the violent and very very graphic opening scene depicting a gunman storming a night club and opening fire on the crowd, many of the patrons.

A Pulse survivor, Patience Carter, has spoken out to express her thoughts on how Madonna used the video. Carter said, "As a survivor of gun violence, it was really hard to watch," she told the outlet. "For someone like me, who actually saw these images, who actually lived these images, to see them again dramatized for views (and) dramatized for YouTube, I feel like it was really insensitive."

The singer has yet to respond to the comments flooding social media in regards to the intense 8-minute long video, but only to tweet a tease saying, " This is your wake up call."

Take a look and judge for yourself, too much or too true.
