LL Flooring Looking for a Buyer
According to an announcement quoted by the Independent, LL Flooring is currently negotiating with "multiple bidders" in an effort to sell the company.
During the reorganization, the company's remaining stores will continue to operate as normal.
Charles Tyson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of LL Flooring. He says the Chapter 11 reorganization will provide LL Flooring with additional time and flexibility while it pursues a permanent solution.
"After comprehensive efforts to enhance our liquidity position in a challenging macro environment, a determination was made that initiating this Chapter 11 process is the best path forward for the Company," Tyson said in a statement.
