Excelsior! Several Michigan minor league baseball team have entered into a three-year deal with Marvel.

Starting in 2022, a new partnership will begin between the Lansing Lugnuts, Great Lakes Loons, West Michigan Whitecaps and Marvel Entertainment. The teams are just a few of the 96 teams that have entered into the three-year deal.

The deal was announced on Wednesday at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry's "Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes" exhibit. For the next three years, fans will see a special Marvel Super Heroes game that will include themed uniforms and on-field promotions. A new comic book will also be distributed at the ballparks called "Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond." Other co-branded merchandise will also be available in 2022.
