It was a meeting with her grandfather that inspired then 8-year-old Addisyn Goss from Fenton to develop 'Snuggle Sacks.' Now, three years later, Addisyn was featured on NBC's 'Today' show after helping countless homeless people in the Flint, Lansing, and Detroit areas.

Snuggle Sacks are survival kits for homeless individuals, and each is filled with dry food items and personal-sized toiletry items. Addisyn and her team have raised over $10,000 and helped  9,000 people.
