It’s pretty much a fact that here in Michigan summertime goes hand-in-hand with golf. Of course, in our area that means the Ally Challenge presented by McLaren rolls into town at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club.

It’s hard to believe there was actually a time when women didn’t play golf and for awhile they weren’t even allowed to belong to some country clubs. There was even a time when women didn’t drive pick up trucks, but that’s definitely changing.

I headed up to the Ally Challenge test driving 2021 Chevrolet Colorado Four-Wheel-drive ZR2 Crew Cab from the Shea Automotive Group. With its eye-catching metallic cherry red color and incredible design, I felt like a pro myself.

There were so many little extras on the exterior design that just set it apart, especially the wheels. The Off-Road appearance package and the Chevrolet lettered grill really gave it that extra style that gets noticed.

The interior was as comfortable and smooth as the outside of this incredible truck. I loved the rear folding backseat, the leather-wrapped steering wheel, the easy touchscreen controls, and all the room without feeling "lost' in a big truck.

The truck maneuvered so well on the roads, and it had pick up that I couldn’t believe when I hit the expressway. This little number had it all, including a trailer package making it pretty much the perfect vehicle for all four seasons in Michigan.

I had a few friends tell me that the truck actually “fit” me. I’d like to think that you can tell a lot about a person from the vehicle they drive. The 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is definitely  a truck for people who are going places. It can take you anywhere, to any place, at any time. Yeah ... I guess that does fit me perfect.

Head on over to the Shea Automotive Group and find your perfect fit.
