Kroger to Hire 500 Employees in Michigan

Kroger is hiring and looking to fill about 500 open positions during a job fair this weekend. The retailer plans to fill an additional 300 jobs later this year.

Anyone interested is invited to fill out an online application at Kroger's website and then visit any store for an interview this Friday (8/9) or Saturday. Interviews are taking place between 11 am and 6 pm both days.

Crain's Detroit Business reports that Kroger is planning to open stores in Warren and Sterling Heights later this year.

Kroger currently employees about 19,000 people in Michigan.
