A Big Change is Coming to Cars 108 and We Think You’re Gonna Love it
I've been bursting at the seams waiting to share this exciting news with you. Cars 108 is launching a brand new morning show.
Jeremy Fenech will soon be joining Cars 108 to host our new morning show. Beginning February 10, join us for "The Cars Morning Drive with Jeremy Fenech."
Who is Jeremy Fenech?
Jeremy Fenech is a Flint native and 30-year radio veteran who began his broadcasting career as a weekend overnight DJ on Cars 108 at just 15 years old. His career has included stops in Detroit, Evansville, Indiana, and other Flint stations including WWCK-FM and WRSR-FM Owosso/Flint where he most recently served as the station’s Program Director and afternoon drive host for nearly nine years.

Fenech was recently awarded My City Magazine’s 2024 City’s Choice Award for ‘Favorite Local On-Air DJ.
“I’m thrilled to finally be coming home,” Fenech said. “Cars 108 is where I began my radio career and I can’t wait to once again work with the station’s incredible staff and some of my lifelong friends."

A Big Heart for a Great Community
In his most recent role, Jeremy has been instrumental in helping many great local charities.
The Old Newsboys - an organization that is near and dear to Jeremy - provides children in Genesee County with Christmas gifts including personal hygiene essentials and age-appropriate toys.
He's also played a big part in fundraising efforts to benefit the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, helping to raise over $250,000 over the last nine years.
Fenech is proud to have received the 'Defender of Potential' award from Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Flint and Genesee County and he enjoys hosting a competition known as the 'Fenech Feud' which currently raises money for the United Cancer Alliance.
I'm Passing the Keys to Jeremy
Filling in as the temporary morning host on Cars 108 has been a lot of fun, but I'm not really fond of going to bed right after 'Wheel of Fortune.' I'm delighted to pass the keys to the morning show to Jeremy, who has been one of my dearest radio friends for decades.
Jeremy, welcome to Cars 108 once again! It's good to have you back home.
