Smoothie King Will Open New Location in Grand Blanc Soon

Grand Blanc residents are in for a real treat as Smoothie King is gearing up to open a brand-new location.

Earlier this year, we heard rumors that Smoothie King was opening up a new location in Grand Blanc. However, it was rumored to be opening in September or October in the Grand Mall & Office Center on Saginaw Street. Obviously, that never came to fruition.

According to What Now Detroit, Brighton entrepreneur, Christopher Klebba signed an agreement to open 50 new Smoothie Kings in both Michigan and Ohio in 2018.

Klebba and his team already have more than a dozen locations throughout Michigan with the majority sitting in Metro Detroit.

Christopher Klebba:

We think Grand Blanc is a great community, something we’re very familiar opening in and we’re really excited to get there.

The Grand Blanc location will be the second Smoothie King in Genesee County. You'll find the county's first location on Miller Road in Flint.

Where Will Smoothie King Be Located?

Smooth King is currently under construction but when completed, you'll find it in the new Grand Blanc Marketplace. This is the former spot that used to be home to Farmer Jack and Kmart.

If you look closely at the photo below, you'll notice a sign on the window of the store next door. It looks like Jersey Mike's Subs will be going into the Grand Blanc Market Place as well.

Earlier this week, we announced that Five Below, the specialty discount store would also be opening in the Grand Blanc Market Place.

When Will Smoothie King in Grand Blanc Open?

According to sources, Smoothie King is expected to open at the end of January 2024.
