It's the end of an era, Rocky's Great Outdoors in Burton is closing.

Paul 'Rocky' Roll opened Rocky's back in 1971 as a motorcycle parts and accessories shop. After 20 years, the store expanded by selling outdoor gear. Mr. Roll passed away in 2024, but his legacy continued to live on at Rocky's Great Outdoors.

Fast forward to 2026: after 55 years in business, the store will soon begin its liquidation process.

Rocky's posted the following message via social media as the 'store closing' sign was going up,
It’s a bittersweet day for us. You may have seen this photo circulating of the signs going up, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we’re incredibly grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years.
